API / Residential solar & storage API · Kokusai Kogyo

Bring Japan-ready home energy calculations into your product.

Build a branded calculator or sales workflow using Enegaeru’s residential energy simulation capabilities. Keep your customer experience and integrate the calculation services you need.

A common calculation foundation for Japan’s renewable energy services.

Use Enegaeru as the energy calculation and data component behind your own product: a solar-and-storage configurator, dealer proposal tool, electricity-plan comparison, BEV charging service or commercial project workflow.

01 / YOUR APPLICATION

Capture the customer’s case

Collect location, demand, equipment and comparison assumptions through your own interface.

02 / ENEGAERU APIS

Calculate with local data

Connect the supported demand, PV generation, energy-balance and tariff calculations for the selected use case.

03 / YOUR CUSTOMER JOURNEY

Turn results into action

Present comparisons and connect the outcome to a quote, application, CRM or project review.

Centralizing supported calculation logic and data maintenance helps teams standardize proposals across products and channels. Agree the API specification, licensed data, update behavior and validation cases before deployment.

Solar PV, battery storage and all-electric living in one proposal.

For homebuilders, installers and equipment brands, Enegaeru ASP evaluates rooftop solar, home batteries and household electrification together. Compare electricity purchases, solar exports and gas-cost changes, including relevant heat-pump water-heating and induction-cooking scenarios.

Start with one to twelve months of usage data, or estimate demand from electricity bills where supported. Apply location, lifestyle, PV orientation and capacity, the selected battery and tariff. Refine initial estimates as actual customer data becomes available.

The published ASP approach uses NEDO METPV20 irradiance data for 835 locations and JIS PV-generation calculations. Its battery master reflects usable capacity, charging and discharging limits, conversion losses and standby power, including differences between hybrid and standalone systems. Manufacturer-provided values and identified reference values support more specific comparisons than nominal battery capacity alone.

Designed for your team’s work

Equipment manufacturers; digital energy platforms; homebuilders; developers.

What you bring

  • Location, demand and tariff inputs
  • supported equipment parameters
  • comparison scenarios
  • required result fields

What you can evaluate or receive

  • Integrate residential energy calculations
  • compare solar and storage scenarios
  • connect outputs to your own quotation or customer workflow

A practical first evaluation

Validate one household and one product against an agreed reference case before extending the interface or distribution network.

Scope to confirm

The API does not include your front end, identity management, CRM or every SaaS feature by default. Confirm endpoints, supported inputs, output fields, usage rights and commercial terms.

Before you commit

Can we use this as part of our Japan launch?

Tell us your customer segment, local operating model and first use case. We will discuss product fit and any additional data, integration, training or specialist work required.

Is the software or delivery available in English?

This page is an English introduction. Confirm interface, documentation, report and support languages for the product or engagement. Bilingual outputs and localization should be specified explicitly.

How are commercial terms agreed?

Request a quotation for the product, users or usage, data rights, scope and support you need. Confirm implementation fees, recurring fees, contract term and any project work before ordering.

Bring us the next decision you need to make.

Tell us what you want to launch in Japan, who will use it, and where the work is getting stuck. We can discuss the right combination of software, APIs, data and specialist support.
